What is your nutrition philosophy?

I believe nutrition should support your life, not make it more complicated! My approach focuses on balance, flexibility, and adding nourishing foods rather than following restrictive rules. I want to help clients find realistic, sustainable habits that fit their lifestyle and allow them to enjoy food without guilt or stress.

What motivates you to help others achieve their nutritional goals and lead healthier lives?

I’ve always been interested in the connection between nutrition, health, and overall well-being. I love that nutrition can look different for everyone and that small changes can have a meaningful impact on how we feel and function. I wanted to become a dietitian so I could help people feel more confident in their food choices and find an approach to nutrition that works for their individual lives.

Give us an overview of your background in as a dietitian.

Nutrition has played a role in different stages of my life, starting as a young athlete when I learned how fueling my body could help me feel my best, support performance, and recover. Later, I learned that I had high cholesterol during a nutrition lab at school, which hit close to home given my family history. Since then, I’ve used nutrition as a tool to be proactive about my health and make lifestyle changes to help manage my cholesterol. These experiences have shown me that nutrition is not one-size-fits-all and that our needs evolve throughout life. They’ve also reinforced my belief that nutrition should be about feeling your best, supporting your health, and finding sustainable habits that work for you!

What’s one piece of advice you’d give someone who’s nervous to start their nutrition journey?

You don’t have to have everything figured out before getting started! Nutrition is not about being perfect or changing everything overnight. Small, realistic changes can make a big difference over time, and we’ll work together to find an approach that feels manageable and right for you.
