About Us
While both Nutrition Coaches and Registered Dietitians work in the field of Nutrition, they have different qualifications training and roles. A Registered Dietitian must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (but by 2024 must hold a Masters), complete a 1,200 hour supervised internship, and pass a national board examination. Dietitians are trained to provide medical nutrition therapy for a large variety of populations, use a science based approach, and can take insurance.
Whereas Nutritionists (or Nutrition Coaches) can have varying levels of expertise, but only require short courses or online certifications. Nutritionists cannot accept insurance or create custom meal plans for clients. Under scope of practice, a Nutrition coach can only provide calories, macros, and behavioral nutrition advice.

Services & Appointments
We provide a Complimentary 30 minute Nutrition evaluation. You will meet with our Practice Manager who will have you fill out paperwork to learn more about you as well as verify what your insurance plan will cover. During your 30 minute call, we will review your paperwork, discuss our program, and talk about an 8 week game-plan for you. Whether you decide to work with us or not, we will provide you with an 8 week plan.
We start off with a Nutrition evaluation. From there, we will book your initial session with your Dietitian. After that, your Dietitian will book out your sessions depending on the program you choose.
During your initial appointment, we will conduct a nutrition assessment, discuss your health and nutrition goals, and develop a nutrition care plan individualized to you.
We have a client centered approach, meaning that every session is geared towards you and your goals. We will review your intakes, progress, discuss barriers and set new goals.
Our dietitians provide one-on-one Nutrition Counseling. During sessions, we will provide evidence based personalized nutrition guidance geared towards your lifestyle. In between sessions you will receive messaging support as well as feedback on food journals, access to your goals and resources in our portal. We also offer self guided programs for those that may not have the time for set appointments. Learn more about One-on-One Counseling and our Programs.
We offer telehealth/virtual sessions with your Registered Dietitian. These will take place through a HIPAA- complaint zoom meeting (via the Klasik Nutrition app) that you can join from the comfort of your own home.
Yes, you can reach out to your Dietitian with questions anytime between sessions using our app.
We ask that you give us at least 12 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made outside of this 12 hour window or no shows will be subject to a cancellation fee which is equivalent to the cost of the session.
There are so many different means of progress besides just the number on the scale. After the first visit you will complete an assessment form. The same form will be completed every 8 visits to check in on progress. We also measure progress by working on small goals and building them overtime.
We have three different programs: Basics, Pro and Platinum. Pricing differs based on the frequency and length of your sessions. If you are utilizing insurance, price will differ based on insurance plan and policy. We also offer self-paced programs that range from $30 a program to $75 for a bundle of programs.
We accept all major credit cards as well as HSA and FSA
During your consultation, we will discuss your goals, health and nutrition history, and if you’ve tried to reach these goals before. From there, we will work together to determine which program would be best for you and your lifestyle.
This typically differs from person to person and depends on what goals you are trying to achieve. We start off with a 3 month commitment working with our Dietitians, but most people continue working with their dietitian for several months afterwards.
When matching you with your Dietitian, we take a few different things into consideration to make sure you are getting the best possible match. Our Dietitians specialize in several different areas, so we want to make sure that you are matched with a dietitian that aligns with both your goals and personality. We can work with a variety of insurance providers, and coverage may vary. Before your Nutrition evaluation, we will complete a benefits verification with your insurance provider to determine your coverage. Head here to learn more.
