Identifying a plant-based RD was what pushed me to act but I sought one out because I felt like an old lady at age 41 being significantly overweight with PCOS and perimenopause struggles. The last 15 months have been incredible. I have lost around 30 lbs in a sustainable way. I never felt like I was dieting, never felt deprived or judged. My body feels better and is continuing to get stronger each week. Sam is an amazing support to have and I look forward to our weekly sessions. She meets you where you’re at with kindness, understanding and tremendous knowledge. She’s helped me address the emotional aspects of nutrition and exercise along with the more scientific aspects. Weight loss occurred without me realizing I was making changes.
Sam helped me to slowly incorporate more nutrition and exercise into my days in a way that felt natural. I often tell Sam that she does some kind of magic because she helps you make changes without you ever feeling deprived or burdened. The truth is that she is incredibly smart, creative and kind and works very hard to connect and support me each week. I’m profoundly grateful for her!
